Natural Bridge State Park
NATURAL BRIDGE GOES
DARK SKY! AND GREEN!
Natural Bridge is the third park in the
Virginia State Park system to be named an
International Dark Sky Park. At IDA Dark Sky
Places visitors experience a natural night
beneath a starry sky. Virginia has five such
parks-more than any state east of the
Mississippi.

natural wonder estimated to be
500 million years old.

earth at The Caverns at Natural
Bridge to see formations on a
45-minute tour.

live at Natural Bridge Zoo.

Kingdom II, which imagines
prehistoric creatures in battle
with soldiers.

Virginia Safari Park, the state's

animal encounters.
7. Great Valley Farm Brewery &
Winery produces ales, lagers and
other beers using ingredients
from its farm, as well as wines.
8. Halcyon Days Cider Company
produces hard ciders from 50
different apple varieties grown
in an orchard that's a labyrinth
adventure itself.
9. Virginia Gold Orchard is best
known for its juicy Asian pears,
and also offers othere fruits,
chestnuts, local honey and
heirloom vegetables.
