While the thought of going to a hospital
conjures any number of fears, the health care
providers of the Highlands live next to those
they serve, and many even get their start at
Dabney S. Lancaster Community College's
prestigious nursing program, all of which
ensures the best health care the region and
nation has to offer is provided by a friendly
face who understands what it means to be
from a small town.
Health care naturally does not end at the
hospital doors, and two new providers have
opened their doors to residents to ensure
their ongoing health care needs are met.
At Ridgeline Physical Therapy in Low
Moor, less than five minutes from LGHA, Physical Therapists Brett Siebenkittel
and Jonathan Eaton lead a talented staff
dedicated to getting you back on your feet

after injury or illness has slowed you down.
They offer therapy services geared toward
tackling back and neck pain, balance and gait
training, education, electrical stimulation,
manual therapy, myofascial release, home
exercise programs, post surgical care, straincounterstrain, stroke rehabilitation, traction,
ultrasound and vertigo.
"We take time to get to know each patient
and provide personal, one-on-one care," said
Brett and Jonathan. "We live and work here
in the Alleghany Highlands, so it's natural to
treat everyone like friends and family."
Of course most ailments do not require
intensive therapy or rehabilitation, and that is
where Alleghany Family Pharmacy comes in.
Located on Craig Avenue in Covington, the
local pharmacy opened its doors in 2018 with
Pharmacist Aaron Taylor behind the counter.
