What's your favorite outdoor activity in the LifeOutside region?
"Driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway and looking at the leaves may be one of my
favorite things to do. When my husband and I head back from an adventure, we
stop at the Mill Mountain Star and look out at Roanoke. The mountains are so
majestic, and it's fun to point out places you recognize. Our favorite trail is also
there. The Star Trail is just right for a moderate hike and the scenery is breathtaking. It feels like you're getting lost in a fairy tale town even though you haven't left
Roanoke. I love it! -Amanda O'Dell
