It is my pleasure to welcome you to the new issue of Montgomery
County Spirits, the magazine of and about your DLC retail
stores. As always, we're excited to share timely stories, recipes,
recommendations and destinations focused on the hundreds of beer,
wine and spirit products sold in stores.
As we welcome warmer weather, we're pleased to also welcome
an issue themed to the spring season-with great recipes for the
grill, "day-cations" to local breweries, wineries, and distilleries, and
so much more. A few more details on what's inside:
Baseball! Whether you're a fan or not, you'll be inspired by the
cocktails and drinks we've included-each of which are tied, at
least in color or spirit, to either the Nationals or the Orioles. These
two local favorites renew their "Battle of the Beltway," with three
games at each stadium, in May and June.
And speaking of the wonderful month of May, don't miss this
issue's celebrations and recipes tied to Cinco de Mayo, the
Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and more.
Plus, there's more inside for your spring fun-excellent wine
recommendations from six of our store managers and a great
story on the Maryland breweries, wineries and distilleries you must
