During my two years as the Director of the Department of Liquor
Control, I've committed myself to creating a customer-first mentality focused on continuous improvement and our number one
priority-you, our customers. Not only has the DLC received
awards for its state-of-the-art warehouse, anti-drunk driving campaigns, and allocated lottery program; we continue to focus on
our retail business.
We have hired a new head of retail operations who is working
tirelessly to elevate your in-store experience. Over the coming
months expect to see a few changes, including a larger assortment of Maryland-made products on our shelves and a new look
and feel in two of our stores which are being remodeled. Later
this summer, we'll be celebrating the grand opening of our first
spirits-only store-and, don't forget to mark your calendars for
our next Whiskey Rocks event which will be held in mid-June.
We have lots of exciting things happening at retail and cannot
wait to share them with you.
