ASK THE EXPERTS

Retire Q&A
With retirement comes many questions. Luckily, our experts are ready to help you with your journey.
Q: What should I consider when choosing a Home
Care provider?
A: First, consider the type of services that are needed at
home. if your illness is short-term, and your goal is to
return to your prior level of function before becoming
ill, home health services may meet your needs. If your
medical condition challenges a return to your prior
level of function or if your illness is chronic or complex,
consider your overall goals of care. What is most
important... cure or comfort? If you are facing a lifelimiting condition, palliative or hospice services may be
most comfortable for you.

Q: I have items to consign or auction. What does
"Fair Market Value" mean?
A: The term "Fair Market Value" means what can be
expected if an item is put for sale in TODAY'S OPEN
MARKET. Any item's value is based on the desirability,
the region in which it is promoted, and the audience to
which it is exposed. The price originally paid for an item
may not be relevant at all.

Q: I have a relative's cremation urn at home, what
are my options?
A: You're not alone. Nearly 30% of all homes have
the ashes of loved one. They can be buried and
memorialized on a family lot or placed in a niche.
They can even be a tree with Evergreen Memorial Trust
properties!

Q: What changes are you seeing in the world of
financial planning and investment management?
A: We've recently seen the growth of so-called "robo
solutions." But computers aren't taking over. Rather, we
empower our wealth managers by leveraging new data
and technology as another tool to help create more
wealth for clients. For example, at United Income, our
software helps us build long-term spending forecasts,
create unique investment portfolios based on more
accurate risk assessments, and lower clients' taxes.
And all that work is brought to life by the client's local
advisor.

center around maintaining independence and social
engagement while having fun.  The fitness center is a
vibrant hub where seniors come together for everything
from strength and balance classes to pool volleyball to
