Blue Chair Bay Rum. Kenny
Chesney's voice blends with
the melodic picking of a guitar:
"There's a blue rocking chair,
sittin' in the sand, weathered by
the storms and well-oiled hands."
The soothing song engenders
peace, relaxing on a beach, ocean
breezes brushing your skin and a
strong rum cocktail in hand.
In 2013, Chesney launched Blue
Chair Bay Rum, molasses-based
rums from a beachside
distillery in Barbados, aged
where sunlight and tropical
winds can influence the
aging. Other flavors from
Chesney's rum line include
spiced, coconut, banana,
vanilla, key lime and
flavored rum creams.

Blackened American
Whiskey. Metallica's
straight American
whiskey was created
under the guidance of
Master Distiller Dave
Pickerell and perfected
by the sonic enhancements of
metal music. A blend of North
American whiskeys is housed
in black brandy barrels, then
inundated with intense, low-hertz
soundwaves to enhance molecular
interaction and finish. To further
ensure sonic enhancement, the
band collaborated with Meyer
Sound, using its proprietary
subwoofer to amplify lowfrequency waves.
"It just so happens that the
low- frequency range needed for
Dave's vision was the range you
hear in our music," according to
Metallica.com. "We call this sonic
enhancement 'Black Noise,' and
the playlists we create help shape
the flavor of the whiskey."

More than just a celebrity endorser,
rapper Jay-Z heads global strategy
and acts as part-owner for D'ussé
Cognac, a premium French
brandy. Not only is D'ussé a super
sipper, it's also a superior cocktail
ingredient.
"D'ussé is a new Cognac in the
sense that the brand is only five
years old, but it is a Cognac that is
produced by a company that has
been producing for over 200 years
in a place that has been around for
more than 1,000 years by a cellar
master [Michel Casavecchia] who is
today the most experienced of all
the cellarmasters
from the major
Cognac houses,"
