apple brandies? This is the perfect
drink to ward off the chill on cold
winter evenings, after winter sports
activities, or while tailgating. From

▷▷3 oz. hot cider
▷▷Cinnamon stick for garnish

Pour applejack and hot cider into
a thick tumbler or mug. Add the
cinnamon stick.

Pour all ingredients into cocktail
shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake
and strain into a chilled cocktail
glass. Sprinkle fresh ground nutmeg
on top.

Americano
The sweet vermouth balances the
bitterness of the Campari while
still providing savory satisfaction.

▷▷A splash of soda water
▷▷Orange slice and lemon zest for
garnish

Mix the ingredients directly in an old
fashioned glass filled with ice cubes.
Add a splash of soda water. Stir
gently. Garnish.

Ancho Reyes
Daiquiri
Introduce some palate-warming heat
to your drink with Ancho Reyes
Chile Liqueur.

▷▷ 1 part fresh lime juice
▷▷ ½ part simple syrup
▷▷ Lime wheel for garnish (optional)

Add liqueur, lime juice and simple syrup
to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake
well. Strain into a chilled coupe glass
and garnish with a lime wheel.

Sassafras Bulldog
Like a White Russian, but fizzy. Like
a Colorado Bulldog, but with root
beer instead of cola. Adapted from the
Colorado Bulldog at Kahlua.com
▷▷ 1 oz. Kahlúa
▷▷ 1 oz. Absolut vodka
▷▷ 1 oz. cream
▷▷ Root beer
Shake the Kahlúa, vodka and cream with ice.
Strain into a short glass with lots of ice, but make
sure not to fill it to the brim. Leave some space to
top it off with the root beer.
