Guild Artists' Holiday Sale - Members of the
Southern Highland Craft Guild in Asheville, North
Carolina will be on hand at the Folk Art Center to
sell selected work on December 6 and 13 from 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. The craft members will liquidate overstocks, try out new techniques and sell studio seconds. It's a great chance to get a deal while also making

Hard Candy Christmas - This two-day event
takes place at the Ramsey Center on the campus of
Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North
Carolina. Handmade items include quilts, pine needle baskets, clay art, corn shuck flowers, brooms,

Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community -
Located on a historic eight-mile loop a few miles from
downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this community
features the studios and shops of more than 120 working artists and craftspeople. Crafts offered include
carvings, baskets, candles, silver smithing, leather
goods, wearable fashions, frameable art, photography,

Frederick, Maryland welcomes Santa on
November 28 at 7 p.m. sharp. He arrives by horsedrawn carriage to the excitement of kids of all ages.

Suntrust Dickens of a Christmas - now in its
32nd year - takes place in downtown Roanoke,
Virginia on the first three Fridays of December.
Friday, December 5 features the lighting of the
City of Roanoke Christmas Tree; Friday, December
12 the Christmas Parade runs from 6 to 10 p.m.,
and Friday, December 19 features a costume contest. This free, family-friendly event includes
