of yours is right on par with

I really like the format of
January/February!
I just enjoyed reading the
article "A Tale of Two Men."
It was an interesting and
well-written article, at least
until the end, where I read
this: "They married well and
long and reproduced fruitfully, leaving behind some
1,500 ancestors, among
them...." This is not the first
time recently that I've read
the word "ancestor" used to
mean "descendent." Have
they changed the meaning
of the word since I finished
school?
My family moved to Martinsville, Virginia, in 1957,
and the Blue Ridge Parkway
and other mountain destinations were our favorite places for an afternoon
drive or a week's vacation.
