BristolRhythm.com Reviewed June 16, 2017 Wonderful museum to visit My husband and I went to this museum and were very impressed on how well everything is laid out. Some museums can be overwhelming but not this museum. The film that is shown is great. It shows you the history of the music that was made in Bristol, VA. All of the exhibits are carefully presented in a clear manner and there are many interactive activities to participate in. Parking is available right across the street in a free parking lot. Reviewed May 7, 2017 Awesome museum! If you really want to learn about the roots and history of country and folk music, this is the place. Has an authentic, well-researched feel...not glitzy like Nashville can be. Great exhibit on the Bristol recording sessions. Nicely balanced across various artists/groups. It would be easy to let the Carter Family dominate the museum's exhibits, but I think the museum did a great job of keeping the scope broad and fair. MP: 194.4 BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY 23
