Never count your chickens until they've crossed
the road.

1 medium cabbage, coarsely
shredded
10 ¾ oz cream of celery soup,
undiluted
¼ c. milk
1 c. shredded mild yellow cheese
½ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
½ c. fine, dry breadcrumbs
2 TBS melted butter
Cook cabbage in boiling water
5-7 min. until tender. Drain. Place
cabbage in lightly greased 1 ½-qt.
baking dish.
Combine soup, milk, cheese, salt
and pepper, mixing well. Pour over
cabbage.
Combine breadcrumbs and butter,
sprinkle over cabbage. Bake at 350°
for 15 mins. Makes 6 servings.

GARDENING HINTS

Indoor heat can be too dry for potted
plants. Try placing the pots on trays
full of pebbles. Keep the pebbles
moist and your plants will thank you.
