REBELS IN LOVE

SPARKLE AND SHINE

FUN FOR EVERYONE

Jamie Thompson and Jessica Lumsden met
online, chatting for a few days before officially meeting. They opted for a scavenger
hunt involving clues and pictures sent to one
another throughout the day, meeting at a
lookout point over the city. As it turned out,
these two rebels were accidentally on private
property, and quickly left, meeting again that
same evening to see a band play. They talked,
laughed and danced the night away, smitten
with each other ever since.
Almost five years later, Jamie proposed
during the sunrise while on vacation at their
favorite place. As it turned out, Jamie had
asked her father's permission months prior.

Jessica chose colors of black, gold and white,
along with a lot of glitter, sparkle and shine.
She even took a bottle of glitter spray to her
best girls so they would sparkle and shine
throughout the day!
The boutonnieres were shaped like footballs,
while the bouquets contained rhinestones
within each rose. Their ceremony was unique
in that the groom's side sat on the left to see
him better, while Jessica's guests sat on the
right to see her reactions. Music played a large
part, with a pianist playing during ceremony
seating, plus a live band during the reception;
the maid of honor also sang in her speech to
the newlyweds.

While Jamie's favorite memory is seeing
Jessica walk down the aisle, hers was seeing
him during the First Look session. They also
agree they treasure the moment of walking
into the reception before everyone else to see
the magical transformation, and enjoying a
quiet moment alone together as husband
and wife.
Jessica sent photos of every wedding guest
to a caricature artist, displaying them for
everyone to see upon entering the reception
and take home as fun favors. Their reception
was so fun, even another bride and her guests
showed up to Jessica and Jamie's reception
and appeared in their photos!
