TOUR OF LOVE

DOWNTOWN FUN

Lacy Grindstaff and Garrett Gregory first met
during a mission trip through Baptist Collegiate Ministries at Virginia Tech. Though
they had not met previously, it didn't take
long for them to become fast friends.
For his proposal, Garrett took Lacy on
a tour of several places in Blacksburg that
were meaningful to their relationship. Many
were on the Virginia Tech campus, though
it culminated with the two standing on the
drillfield with a sweet letter and Lacy's beautiful engagement ring.
"It was such a fun night because we got
to relive the best parts of our relationship!"
Lacy says.

Garrett and Lacy chose a color scheme of
gold, champagne and blush, showcased in
many of their wedding day details. Lacy's
bouquets were comprised of creamy-colored
hydrangeas and blush pink roses.
The couple chose Charter Hall as their venue,
wanting the downtown Roanoke location.
It allowed them to get a sparkler exit shot,
which turned out to be one of their favorite
photos of the day.

A REASON TO CELEBRATE

Their families surprised them with their wedding guest favors of customized koozies and
coffee, as the couple loves it.

Lacy and Garrett shared a private First
Look moment, but their favorite part of the
day was finally getting to the ceremony. It was
such a culmination of all the excitement that
had been building for so long, and to enjoy
the moment gave them a terrific reason to
celebrate.
A MOST JOYFUL DAY

To the newlyweds, they feel their day was
uniquely joyful. Lacy says they were blessed
to be surrounded by so many people who
were genuinely joyful in celebrating their
marriage together.
"That joy we felt all day and evening is a
feeling neither of us will ever forget!" she says.
