In April alone, 503 homes sold in the Roanoke Valley and 673 were placed under contract. The median sale price was just a shade under $225,000. The prediction for the remainder of the year (from ANZ Bank) is that home prices will rise 17% by the end of the year before slowing in 2022. Zillow tells us that home prices have doubled in the last decade and in the Roanoke Valley, agents are saying homes are selling almost as fast as they are listed.
