in addition to the giant entrée portions. Our Mussels
Bianco, mussels served in a white wine sauce, were
lovely renditions of a Continental favorite, though I
felt the white wine should have been cooked out just a
tad more. The enormous Salmon Salad with its bounty
of baby lettuces, dried cranberries, feta cheese, and
seared salmon is enough to serve at least four people
as an appetizer, but it would make a great main dish
if you're jonesing for something lighter. I loved the
slight nip the feta and cranberries added to an otherwise standard salad and the fish was perfectly cooked
with a lovely sear on one side.
As for dessert, I'm not sure if there are any others on
the menu, but if sweets are your thing, then you must,
without any hesitation, order the Tiramisu. It's a towering square of airy cake soaked in bitter coffee, layered
with rich mascarpone, and dusted with chocolate. It's
rich and savory and sweet all at the same time and I
couldn't bear not to scrape the plate clean. Will this
dish obliterate any Weight Watchers points you have
saved up? Most definitely. Is it worth it for one evening
of chocolate-coffee bliss? Guaranteed.

the valley. Chef Antonio Zuccarelli and his team of
cooks have worked hard to maintain the quality we all
love from the original Mamma Maria's location while
adding a little of their own flair to each dish. It's a restaurant that I'm proud to be a regular at, though there
will never be such a thing as my regular order with a
menu as solidly good as theirs.
