A love of real estate allows Jane
Metcalfe to be a leader in the industry.

Jane Metcalfe moved to the Roanoke Valley from Richmond in 1970. While she
has worked in various fields, including an administrative position for a commercial
real estate firm, she has 22 years of experience as a residential real estate agent.
"I always loved real estate," she said. "I love older homes, homes in need
of renovation, historic homes, new modern construction...all of it." Metcalfe
represents both buyers and sellers and is a certified relocation specialist. Her areas
of expertise include South Roanoke, Roanoke County, Roanoke City, Botetourt,
Salem and Smith Mountain Lake.
Licensed with MKB Realtors, Metcalfe is a member of the National Association
of Realtors and the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors. "I like MKB because
we're local," she said. "The company is active in serving the community and
that's important to me."
Metcalfe holds a degree from Sullins College in Bristol and a Bachelor of
Science from Longwood College in Farmville. She is the mother of two girls and
grandmother of two. While staying active enjoying photography, gardening and
cooking, she is passionate about her work.

"I enjoy people. I like helping buyers find what they love and I like helping
sellers get the most value for their property," she said. "I encourage all women
to pursue their passion because anything is possible if you stay positive and
want it enough."

CHISHOLM

Mary Chisholm's passion for real estate
led to a successful, rewarding career.

Raised by a single mother in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mary Chisholm didn't
know college was an option. After high school, she worked at a factory, a
bar and a convenience store before moving to Atlanta, at age 19, to explore
other opportunities. There, Chisholm worked for Fred Doty, a nationwide
contractor and her mentor. Doty encouraged her to become a realtor.
At 25, she followed her dream of being an entrepreneur in a field she is
passionate about.
Chisholm and her husband Todd desired to raise their young daughter
Graysun in a small town. As a family, they chose Roanoke and never looked
back. A stay-at-home mom with a continued interest in real estate, she sold
homes in Old Southwest, Raleigh Court and Mountain View-satisfying her
old home addiction.

Heading back into the workforce full-time in 2015, Chisholm hung her
