WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT ROANOKE?

DR. JILL GAINES
While I remember fondly
the high plains of Omaha,
NE that raised me, waking
up to the sight of our
Blue Ridge Mountains in
Roanoke still gives me a
thrill. My kids and I hike
around the blue ridge
parkway. We watch the
shadows grow over our
tents, make s'mores, tell
stories and get to know
better other families like
ours. Roanoke is home.

DR. ERIC D. SWISHER
When I was leaving the
army, Physicians to Women
was the best medical
practice I found anywhere. 
Sailing is my passion, and
when I discovered Smith
Mountain Lake I was
convinced I had found my
new home.  Since I arrived,
Roanoke has been a great
town for raising children
and has a sense of community which is comforting
to me after years of moving for my education and
military commitments.

STEPHANIE QUINN, WHCNP
I enjoy the evolving
diversity in the Roanoke
Community. In my 16
years at Physicians to
Women, I have given care
to patients from a variety
of family structures,
cultural backgrounds,
ethnicities and economic
perspectives. Each of
these experiences help
me grow and give the kind
of perspective to deliver
compassionate care; care
that I think all women
deserve.

DR. DIANNA L. CURTIS
Just last week I went to
the grocery store and
saw a patient I knew by
name. We laughed about
daily life and her growing
family, something in which
this patient has invited
me to participate. After
23 years in Roanoke, this
happens frequently, and
I like that the community
supports such close
relationships outside of
an office between medical
providers and patients.

since 1940. They
serve patients in
the Roanoke Valley,
Salem, Vinton,
Botetourt, Franklin
County and outlying
