We hope that you find these additional member savings opportunities helpful to your business. ❆ In Memoriam Ken Garner Kenneth Leon Garner, inducted as an IMACA/MACS Pioneer in 1989, died on February 8, 2013. After serving in the Army during World War II, Ken returned to Dallas and started working at John E. Mitchell Company as a machinist. Later, he took over his father’s business, Garner’s Transfer Company, when his father passed away. He later rejoined John E. Mitchell Company and rose to the position of VP of Purchasing. When the company closed, he and his wife started a successful painting company which they ran until Ken retired. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, son Larry Garner and daughter Debra Campbell, grandchildren Cody, Kevin and Lauren, and great granddaughters Olivia and Elodie. Johnny L. Jones Johnny L. Jones, age 71, of Johnny’s Radiator Shop in Warren, AR passed away on November 16, 2012. He was born on May 4, 1941 in the Auburn community which is now Fort Chaffee, AR. He was the son of Marshall “Chuck” Jones and Ila M. Jones. He is survived by his wife Bernadine Marie Jeremiah Jones; four daughters, Denise Smith, Angela Shinn, Tina McClain, Tanya Johnson; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother, Gary Don Jones; two sisters, Jacqueline Berkley and Charlotte Jay. He was preceded in his passing by his father, Marshall Jones; his mother, Ila M. Jones; two brothers, Billy Marshall Jones and Terry Ray Jones; and two sisters, Carolyn Geheb and Barbara Sue. Johnny and Bernadine were married for 52 years. He was called into the ministry in 1961 and was an ordained free will Baptist minister for churches in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner, and had served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard for over 20 years. He was an assistant chaplain when he retired. He was at Little Rock in the Army National Guard when the famous “nine” were being a part of the ordered desegregation and was one of the Guard transporting the students to the school. Johnny was founder of Johnny’s Radiator Shop, a long time MACS member in Warren, AR, which he managed since 1973. It is now owned by his daughter, Tanya Johnson and her husband, A.J.
