To learn more about the AchieveLinks program, please contact us at 32 ACTION • May 2013 Patrick Mallon, age 56, owner of A/C Specialties in Bridgeport, Conn. entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2013 surrounded by his family, several weeks after suffering a heart attack. Born in Rome, NY, his family moved to Norwalk, Conn. where he attended St. Thomas middle school and Norwalk High School. Pat and his wife Marianne were married in 1987, and they moved to Monroe to start their lives together. As a shop owner, Pat built his business on quality service and outstanding customer care. During that time he kept up-to-date by attending training classes and shared his knowledge with shops in his area by conducting his own training seminars. He began attending MACS conventions in 1985, became a MACS member in 1991 and quickly established himself as a primary contender in the annual golf outing. Over the years, Pat had worked with the Northeast Region EPA office on different issues concerning the air conditioning business. Pat and his wife have two sons, Brendan, 22, and Matthew, 17. Pat was proud of his boys and stayed very involved with their Boy Scout Troop throughout their time there. His family describes him as a passionate, amazing man and friend who touched the lives of many people. He was an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Boston Red Sox fan, but nothing compared to his love of music. He rarely missed a concert and never hesitated to share those experiences and his extensive knowledge of music with his sons and friends.
