C
ombat vehicles are designed to be sealed against
gas attack, so the air conditioning system is critical to the mission and to the survival of the troops
inside. Fortunately, A/C technology used in military vehicles is almost identical to what you see in the shop everyday, and so are the tools and service techniques. And
just like civilian technicians, military techs must also
complete attain the EPA-mandated Section 609 Certification before they can work on the air conditioning system.
