OTC has announced its 'Diagnostics for Life'
program and new Bravo 2.0 software in North
America for the Encore diagnostic tool. Providing a lifetime warranty on hardware, expanded
technical service hours and a software overhaul,
efforts were based on direct Encore owner feedback. This critical update, Bravo 2.0, is provided
for every Encore owner with or without an active
diagnostics subscription. Technicians will see a
faster, more stable tool with additional vehicle
coverage and a reduction in screen-to-screen
Bravo 2.0 focuses on making the tool faster and
easier to use while expanding coverage and capabilities. Major improvements can be found at

2. Hammond Air Conditioning introduces battery-operated rooftop
A/C system - Arctic Breeze 12000
Hammond Air Conditioning is pleased to
announce the arrival of Hammond's next
generation of marine, truck, RV and heavy
equipment air conditioning - the self-contained, battery-driven 12 or 24 volt rooftop ARCTIC BREEZE 12000 (BTU) and
ARCTIC BREEZE 18000 (BTU) systems.
"The ARCTIC BREEZE rooftop unit is the
ideal solution wherever there is a need for
an electric, battery-driven air conditioning
system that doesn't require an engine running. In many instances, while excavator
or wheel-loader operators are waiting on
trucks, they can turn off their machines for
a short period of time and stay comfortable
without running the engine and hour meter
while they wait. The systems are also used
in underground mining with 4-wheeled
The ARCTIC BREEZE rooftop units are
robust and designed for the roughest of
work environments. The main chassis is
constructed of 1/8" heavy gauge aluminum
providing a rugged, durable framework
to mount all the system components. The
system's tough polyethylene shell has been
designed to resist corrosion.

for the units, but will make recommendations based on the job application. Batteries are also available through Hammond's
network of dealers.
The units use weather pack electrical connections and tinned wire for long, maintenance-free service life. Excellent air circulation throughout the cab is provided by
easily accessible louvers and controls. The
units also offer quick access for service
Sales and distribution of the new batterypowered ARCTIC BREEZE rooftop systems are being handled by Hammond Air
Conditioning's Ingersoll, Ontario head office.
Tracer Products has introduced Tracerline®
Cool Seal™ A/C Leak Sealer, a unique additive that seals slow, pesky leaks in compressors, condensers, evaporators, accumulators,
O-rings and hoses ─ quickly and permanently.
Cool Seal's non-polymer, oil-soluble formula
is safe for A/C system components and recovery equipment. It seals leaks as large as
0.020 inch (0.5 mm) and is compatible with
all popular refrigerants.
Cool Seal is a practical alternative to expensive parts replacement on older, high-mileage
vehicles. It can remain safely in the system to
guard against future leaks, making it ideal for
Cool Seal can be injected into an A/C system
using various delivery methods. The TP2210CS Cool Seal™ Syringe Kit includes
a prefilled, disposable syringe, hose/coupler
with check valve and a purge fitting. It services one vehicle.
The TP-2270-0102CS Cool Seal™ BigEZ™ Cartridge consists of a large, prefilled
cartridge, which works with BigEZ™, EZShot™ and most other caulking gun-style injectors. It can also be used with the EZ-Ject™
injector using an adapter and hose/coupler. A
full BigEZ cartridge services two vehicles.
The most economical way to add Cool Seal is
the TP-2200-0102CS Cool Seal bottle, which
requires a refillable injector (TP-9882). A full
bottle services two vehicles.
