Arizona’s West Coast MINING HISTORY Re-creating a time when mineral wealth drew pioneers in droves to Arizona’s West Coast, Castle Dome Mine Museum and Ghost Town north of Yuma mixes artifacts from the 1878 settlement with imports from the era. At Swansea, near Parker, you can see original buildings from the heyday of the Clara Consolidated Gold and Copper Mining Company.
