24/7 Trauma Care
Here when you need us.

Salina Regional Health Center is a high functioning, Level III Trauma
Center providing 24-hour-a-day specialized care for patients with
serious or life-threatening injuries and is the only Level III Trauma
Center in Kansas to offer 24/7 neurosurgical coverage. In order to be
certified, a Level III Trauma Center must provide 24/7 immediate
care by emergency medicine physicians and 24/7 access to a trauma
response team. This response team consists of a trauma surgeon,
emergency department physician, ED nurse, intensive care nurse,
surgical nurse and staff from radiology, laboratory, blood bank,
respiratory care, security, pharmacy, care management and chaplaincy.

Accredited by the American College of Surgeons

Trauma patients are brought to Salina Regional Health Center by
ground and air ambulances from across north central Kansas.
