perform school, sports and employment
physicals and even minor surgical procedures. An electrocardiogram, digital
X-ray and on-site lab is also available.
The clinics are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
every day.
In addition to an outstanding team of
physician assistants and advanced practice nurses, both clinics have full-time
physicians on-site as well as support
from Salina Regional Health Center if
more extensive care is necessary.
The Urgent Care Clinic and StatCare
are also electronically integrated with
the hospital's family practice medical
providers, so doctors at COMCARE have
easy access to records from visits at
both places.

home or on the go," she says.
Another feature allows patients to go
to one website, SalinaUrgentCare.com,
and see both StatCare's and Urgent Care
Clinic's wait times so they can choose
the location that is less busy. Those
choosing to walk in rather than checking
in online can also see how long the current wait time is.

Services offered

StatCare, at 1001 S. Ohio St., was remodeled in 2017 but was able to stay open
during the process. Patients familiar with
the old interior now notice improvements
the moment they step through the front
door. The lobby is twice its original size,
with a large, lighted reception desk.
Designated storage areas, improved
walkways and room layouts offer greater
efficiency and privacy for both patients
and staff.
"Not only do we have a newer look
and feel, but we were able to relocate
a few areas to ease the flow, such as
our reception area," Burnett says. "It's
so nice and rewarding for our team to
hear the patient comments and see their
expressions when they arrive. We still
have patients coming in and commenting on our new look and feel." 1
