Sevenhugs is a French
startup founded in 2014. It
offers simple and beautiful
smart-home products for the family. hugOne, its first product
dedicated to family sleep monitoring, is already on sale in
France and will soon be available in other European countries
and the U.S.
At the same time, Sevenhugs is building a new user experience
for every day life at home: the Smart Remote. In the context
of the smart home, each connected device is commanded
by a mobile app or a remote control. They both require many
operations to send a command to the device making their
use very complex. The Smart Remote solves these issues by
enabling control of any connected device in the home by simply
pointing at it. The system automatically recognises the device
and the contextual display adjusts to offer the appropriate
interaction option to the user.
The Smart Remote will be shown at CES on Sevenhugs' booth
(Sands, Level 1, Hall G, Booth #80637) and launched through a
crowdfunding campaign in early 2016.
