vest that protects cyclists in case of
an accident.
The system uses a complex
algorithm that analyzes motion in context: when an
accident is detected, the vest inflates automatically to
protect the neck, the thorax and the back (three vitals
parts that could be seriously injured from a bicycle crash).
The smart vest is 100 percent autonomous and insures an
optimal protection before the impact: the airbag reduces
the impact force caused by a crash by 90% and thus can
avoid serious injuries.
The vest was designed for urban cyclists, to protect
them in their daily ride. It is light, comfortable, easy to
use, highly visible in the dark (thanks to many reflectives
stripes in the vest) and reusable after each inflation.
