uch of the "CES buzz" is around tech that's making our
lives easier and more enjoyable such as thinner TVs
delivering sharper images, smart home devices with
advanced capabilities and futuristic transportation. While the
excitement around this tech is well-deserved, many exhibitors
have set their eyes on innovations that ensure we can enjoy our
favorite tech products for generations to come.

Last year, CTA announced the first CES
Eureka Park Climate Change
Innovators awards to highlight innovators whose technologies have a meaningful environmental impact by
reducing carbon emissions.
Six winners were chosen last year by
industry experts: Wavelite for its lowpower connectivity platforms; Sharpell
Technologies for its eco-friendly energy
storage systems; Qarnot Computing for
developing a way to reduce the environmental costs of data centers; Lightyear
for creating the first electric car that
charges itself with sunlight; K&A
Wireless for its Internet of Things-based
pollution monitoring system in vehicles;
and Conservation Labs for its technology that monitors home water usage to
deliver insights and conservation tips.

of climate change, the tech industry - and,
you could argue, the whole world - must

materials to Goodwill, Habitat for
Humanity, Opportunity Village, Teachers
Exchange and HELP of Southern Nevada.
CES attendees also conduct an average
of 33 meetings onsite, avoiding roughly
3.4 billion miles of business travel.

technology-based solutions," said Gary
Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA.
"There's nowhere better than CES, the
global stage for innovation, to scout the
world's next tech startup that can deliver
meaningful carbon emission reductions."
For CES 2019, CTA is proud to
announce the newest CES Eureka Park
