Meet Klaxoon

 K

laxoon, a French-based
company, is revolutionizing how meetings are
conducted using interactive,
digital tools. Klaxoon's proprietary digital platform has
helped thousands of companies
shift from traditional information-sharing only meetings to
inclusive,interactive,decisionmaking meetings. Participants
connect from their devices
to engage in activities such as
surveys, brainstorming and
live messaging.
"I created a company built around
teamwork and efficiency with the best
tools to improve meeting collaboration,
says Matthieu Beucher, CEO of Klaxoon.
"I was sitting in meetings that were
not very efficient and took too much
time. We didn't make decisions and they
lacked creativity."
Klaxoon, a CTA member, attributes
much of its success to its decision to
exhibit at CES 2016 in Eureka Park
where each year, over 1,200 startups
showcase their innovations. And since
2012, more than $1.5 billion has been
funded in Eureka Park startups. And
French President Emmanuel Macron,
also attended CES 2016.
It has grown from a startup with fewer
than 10 employees into a multinational
tech company with 5,000 client companies in 120 countries. BMW, Deloitte,
Dior, Harvard University, Siemens,
McDonalds, PwC and Verizon are using
Klaxoon's technology to conduct more
productive meetings that drive innovation and give everyone a voice.
"Klaxoon's solutions motivate everyone
in the room to have a say, be anonymous,
and on equal footing, so everyone can
offer their ideas and participate - which

ultimately drives innovation
and increases employee
engagement," says Charles
Kergaravat, head of international marketing.

Klaxoon's CES Journey

Prior to CES, Klaxoon spent
two years designing and testing its product. One of
Klaxoon's first customers
encouraged the company to
apply for the CES Innovation
Award, which Klaxoon won in
2015. Winning this award marked the
beginning of Klaxoon's engagement
with CES. During Klaxoon's first year at
CES 2016, thousands of people visited
its booth staffed by just four employees.
"Eureka Park was so huge and unexpected," Beucher says. "We were so far
away from our well-known environment, when we arrived, we knew we
had made it."
What was most valuable to the
Klaxoon team was the feedback they
received about their product and the
deeper understanding of their customer's needs. "We made a giant leap at
CES in terms of gaining business, as
well as in marketing and learning how
to best present our product."
Klaxoon returned to CES 2017 with a
larger exhibit space in Eureka Park - and
additional staff - to unveil the second
generation. "People were gravitating

towards us because
our booth was buzzing
with activity," recalls
Kergaravat. "From there
it was a natural step to
say, 'we've grown out of
the 10-by-10 space in
Eureka Park and now
we need to go upstairs."
Klaxoon moved to the main exhibit
floor, evidence that it has grown from
a startup into a global provider of revolutionary meeting solutions. At CES
2019, they launched the bold Klaxoon
Teamwork Tour onboard a hot pink
semi-truck that served as a new workspace prototype. Starting in Las Vegas,
the team visited 16 cities and met with
thousands of workers over 11 weeks to
discuss the future of work, new ways to
collaborate with digital tools, and how to
facilitate meetings and foster teamwork.
For the past five years, Klaxoon has
chosen CES to unveil its new innovations to the global tech industry. At CES
2020, they will introduce their newest
product, the TEAMPLAYER - a CES
2020 Innovation Award winner - the
fourth CES Innovation Award Klaxoon
has received.
