Contributors Born in 1971 and founder of DSType in late 1994, Dino dos Santos graduated in Graphic Design from ESAD, Matosinhos and was awarded a Master in Multimedia Arts at FBAUP, Porto. Featured in several magazines and books, he designed notable typefaces like Andrade, winner of the Creative Review Type Design Awards for the Best Revival/Extension Family in 2005, and Ventura, awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Type Design by the Type Directors Club of New York in 2008. Dino’s work was selected for the “Schrift in Form” exhibition at the Klingspor-Museum in Offenbach, Germany, and he contributes regularly to conferences, seminars and publications. Aseem Chhabra Aseem Chhabra is a freelance writer based in New York City. He has been published in The Boston Globe, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Time Out, New York. He writes a weekly New York column for Mumbai Mirror and is a regular contributor to Rediff.com, India’s leading news website, and its sister publication India Abroad. Aseem serves on the board of the North America-based South Asian Journalists Association. Dino dos Santos Lisa Rosen Lisa Rosen lives in Los Angeles. She has been writing about film, television, books, art, travel and design for the Los Angeles Times since the turn of the century. Her work has also appeared in Written By, Moving Pictures, Emmy and LA Architect, among other publications. When not thus involved in the popular culture, she is also a columnist for the environmental website Ecology.com. MY SIMPLE LUXURY: High tea.
