TwiTTer Honoring Victims/Survivors “Tis the Season” has an entirely different meaning for crash victims/survivors. Traditionally a time of celebration, the holidays may be exceptionally hard for families who have endured the devastating effect of an impaired driving crash. MADD Victim Services hosts an annual cyber tribute throughout the holiday season, giving families the opportunity to honor loved ones and reflect upon their losses. To submit a cyber tribute message, please visit between November 25 and January 5. MADD Victim Services recently established a Twitter account (handle: @MADDServices) to reach out to victims/survivors. We’re forming relationships with victims/survivors, key partners and the community at large, providing yet another link to MADD’s essential victim services. To announce a special event, post an invitation to a support group, or inform the general public of a helpful resource for victims/survivors, please send details to Amy Stewart at MADDvocate | Winter 2009
