At The Ritz-Carlton, serving guests is our No. 1 priority. It is a mission we take to heart — one that guides all of our hotels and resorts around the world. I’m gratiﬁed to announce, for the third consecutive year, J.D. Power and Associates has named The Ritz-Carlton as the top-ranking hotel company in the luxury segment of the North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study. It is an extraordinary accomplishment of which we are truly proud. But there is no resting on our laurels. We continue to expand with new properties around the world, including the new Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, situated in the heart of the city. I encourage you to explore this issue’s photographic essay of Vienna for an intimate look at the city and our new hotel. You’ll also see the newly opened Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa — our ﬁrst destination resort in Japan — which blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern design. Guests can experience the resort’s picturesque setting from their rooms, which offer views of the championship golf course down to the East China Sea and Motobu Peninsula. In the coming year, we will put the ﬁnishing touches on another group of hotels from Abu Dhabi to China, including a new Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico.
