But she didn't know she would eventually marry the love of her life there. In hindsight, it was practically fated. Her groom, Andrew Robsham, is the son of an executive at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and 66 w e d d i n g s b y t h e r i t z - c a r lt o n he proposed on the idyllic beach of the Laguna Niguel property. But the multifaceted appeal of Marina del Rey was ideal for the couple, who said "I do" in the hotel's lush rose garden, served poolside cocktails and hosted the 170-guest reception on the oceanfront Marina Vista veranda. The festive weekend included day trips to Venice Beach and a farewell brunch facing the marina. A highlight was the food, which included an expertly rendered version of Michelle's favorite blueberry chiffon cake.
