Seeing Red Spirit of Women sponsored a Women in Red Luncheon on Feb. 16 to call attention to heart disease among women. In addition to heart health screenings, the luncheon featured “Top 10 Tips to Help Your Heart” by Barry Bertolet of Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi. dancing with OuR StaRS On Feb. 20, North Mississippi Medical Center’s Spirit of Women program presented Day of Dance for Health, a celebration of dance as a way to enjoy life and prevent heart disease, the No. 1 killer of American women. The event was made possible through a grant from Project Hope.
