The familiar tune brings staff and visitors alike together for a few seconds of shared celebration that another baby has been born in the Family Birthing Center at St. Mary Medical Center. It’s an uplifting break from the typical physician pages and hospital announcements. At St. Mary Medical Center, it symbolizes the success of a unit and staff that bring the best technology, expertise and compassionate care to women during pregnancy and birth. “Providing the highest quality care in a comfortable, soothing environment is our top priority,” says BaBy-Friendly Features The Family Birthing Center at St. Mary Medical Center includes 10 private birthing suites that offer some of the most progressive amenities for women giving birth. In addition to the welcoming, homelike atmosphere, the unit features state-of-the-art birthing beds, four triage beds, private bathrooms with showers, infant security system and the option of using a special birthing tub.
