Guests were treated to an elegant evening full of spooks and surprises. Design and production of the creative event was done by Christina Brown of Stina Bee Marketing & Events. Nearly 300 people from all parts of the county dressed in elaborate and creative costumes while entertained by the haunted mansion “mistress and staff.” Titusville’s Downtown Dance Studio performed a lighter-than-air ghostly waltz. Eric and Ali Miller of Titusville put their creative minds together and dressed as Uncle Sam and Rosie the Riveter, which won them the $1,000 costume contest grand prize (see their photo on page 1). And lucky Becky Walters won the $5,000 black-and-white diamond ring donated by Jon’s Fine Jewelry. More than $100,000 was raised, thanks to our community’s generosity. That means JPMF will continue to help children in this community through The Children’s Center programs and services that otherwise may not have been possible. The proceeds will also help in the fight against cancer by helping provide education, prevention and treatment options for patients at Parrish Medical Center. Save the Date for This Year’s Gala Don’t just read about it. Be there! This year’s gala will be Oct. 25 at La Cita Country Club. Call the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation at 321-269-4066 for details.
