Phil's Feature Beating Strong Our relationships with local cardiology practices enhance the care we can provide the community G winnett Medical Center's commitment to quality cardiac care remains resolute. And while this drive and passion for the service has led to notable successes, we will continue to expand and advance our cardiac offerings based on community needs. Since the Strickland Heart Center opened in early 2012, we have been growing our program and will offer electrophysiology studies in spring 2014. Earlier this year, we also welcomed two cardiology practices, CardioVascular Group and Gwinnett Heart Specialists, to Gwinnett Medical Group. Gwinnett Medical Group serves as a continuum of healthcare services, including primary and specialty care, set in easily accessible locations. Gwinnett Medical Group physicians bring expertise and compassionate care to a range of specialties, including these two cardiology practices. CardioVascular Group and Gwinnett Heart Specialists provide services for both the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and are committed to maintaining a high level of care through technology, innovation and excellence. Through relationships such as these, Gwinnett Medical Center continues to expand its presence in our thriving market to provide patients a range of healthcare options close to home. CardioVascular Group is based in Lawrenceville and has locations in Atlanta, Snellville, Buford, Duluth and Johns Creek. Gwinnett Heart Specialists is also based in Lawrenceville and has locations in Dacula, Duluth, Loganville, Monroe and Sugar Hill. These two groups have long-term relationships with Gwinnett Medical Center. And, in fact, many of the leading cardiologists within the practices were instrumental in championing and securing open heart services for our community. We are extremely proud and humbled these practices selected Gwinnett Medical Group to be their home.
