(215) 321-9662 FROM THE CED’S DESK The Official Publication of CAI New England Summer Planning Will Ensure a Busy Fall s we all anticipate the lazy, hazy days of summer, rest assured that there will be no lazy days at the chapter office. Yes, we’ll make time for summer vacations and perhaps a long weekend here and there, but over these next few months, chapter staff and volunteer leaders will be busy working on new and improved member benefits and services. Chapter committees and regional groups will be busy planning and scheduling fall programs to include the annual CAI New England Chapter Conference and Expo in Marlboro, Mass., as well as several other homeowner and manager programs like the Maine Condo Forum, Vermont Regional Conference, Rhode Island Managers Seminar and Massachusetts Legislative update, to name a few. Various taskforces will continue to develop new chapter programs and services — like the Young Professionals Network — and enhance major chapter benefits and resources including the chapter website, e-newsletter and career center. And, of course, while planning to finalize and deliver these many programs and enhanced resources for the fall of 2011, volunteer leaders will be looking ahead to 2012 as they begin the budget process for the next calendar year. Yes, it will be a busy summer for volunteer leaders and staff with much for members to anticipate for the fall. Wishing you all a relaxing and fun-filled summer with family and friends and looking forward to seeing you at the many fall seminars.
