perature, which can fluctuate dozens of degrees in a
single day. When the oil dries out, the shingles become
brittle and less able to absorb the thermal shock, causing
cracks that ultimately lead to leaks.
Roof Maxx is a scientifically formulated, 100 percent
natural plant-based bio oil that uses SoyFusion technology
to penetrate deep beneath the top protective gravel coating

The Levys enlisted Allen LeBlanc, president of Countryside Estates, a general contracting firm in Sudbury, Mass.,
to conduct an inspection of the product at Spyglass Hill,
a 300-plus-unit condominium community in Ashland,
Mass. The roofs at the association were about 15 years
old, and LeBlanc was able to evaluate not only the roofs
before and after treatment, but also the differences between those that were treated and those that weren't.
"The differences were really quite noticeable in the
range of things a shingle needs to do to last longer," he
observes. For example, he noted that the shingles treated
with Roof Maxx could be bent 90 degrees without cracking
or deterioration, and there was no smell or change in color.
Color consistency is especially important in a condominium community, where a change in color in some roofs
and not others could impact the appearance of the entire
complex. "I could tell no difference in color," he says.
