ichard Bizzaro, Chairman and CEO of All Resort Group (parent company of Salt Lake City, Utah-based Lewis Stages) has grown his company by developing various transportation offerings and differentiating his charter and tours business from the competition. Bizzaro co-owns All Resort Group along with his business partner, Gordon Cummins. All Resort is comprised of various transportation and travel business subsidiaries, including Lewis Stages (its charter and touring business), All Resort Limousine, Destination VIP, Park City Transportation, and All Resort Express. Bizzaro and Cummins’ business units handle black car transportation,

limousine transportation to nearby Park City ski resorts and work with tour companies throughout the West to provide coaches, drivers, and service for these tour operators. Bizzaro points out how his diversified transportation-portfolio has helped keep them busy throughout the year. “We specialize in our area [Salt Lake City and surrounding region] in having all parts of the transportation business,” explains Bizzaro. “They are counter-cyclical, so that we are busy in the winter with skiing trips, and we are busy in the summer with tours and charter business.” Another way he differentiates his business is the company’s approach to seeking out new opportunities and partners. When he bought Lewis Stages back in 2006, he went to work utilizing his

“consumer marketing” background he had acquired from his previous business lives and brought some of that to Lewis. “Everybody talks about the mom and pop part of the business where the phone rings and the customer asks for a motorcoach,” says Bizzaro. “My experience was very few companies had a sales force and called on customers.” Armed with PowerPoint presentations and written marketing materials, Bizzaro and his team set out to see clients and potential customers, selling his charter services to them. A big part of his pitch was the fleet itself. Lewis Stages bought
