Insight into a fund manager’s performance across an entire career Available for 12,000+ managers in the United States Analysis across a manager’s funds, including returns, style, and holdings Morningstar’s Manager Profiles data will provide the industry’s most complete overview of investment managers. Due to launch in early 2011, this new product will present a comprehensive view of a manager’s career, including performance vs. a benchmark for current and past funds, changes in a manager’s investment style over time, cross-fund holdings, a professional biography, and detailed fund information. This independent data will help institutional investors and financial advisors easily screen and benchmark portfolio managers, saving the time spent gathering information from multiple sources. Investors and advisors will be able to dive into details that show how a manager’s investment style has changed over time and in response to different market conditions. Asset management firms can use Manager Profiles to market funds based on their managers’ skills and accomplishments. The data also supports due diligence and performance benchmarking, while assisting with manager recruitment. Manager Profiles can be delivered directly into a firm’s systems via a data feed or as PDF files. Manager Profiles PDF reports will also be accessible through a web-based interface with tools to search, filter, and compare several managers. Firms will be able to receive these in-depth, multiple-page reports for their own managers or for all managers covered.

Biography Joe is a Portfolio Manager of the ABC International fund, the ABC International Discovery fund, and the ABC Global Focus fund. He is Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at ABC Associates. He received Morningstar’s Fund Manager of the Decade award for 2000–2009. Joe has been managing international portfolios since 1986. He joined ABC Associates in 1992, has a MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Economics from Kenyon College (1983). He is a CFA charterholder.
