The recovering economy has led to more traffic and more new gear than ever before. We can't possibly show you every cool product we saw, but here's a quick taste of the show. Also at their booth: Pete's Place (petesplaceaudio.com) showed the Electrodyne Summing Station rackmount analog summing box/ monitor controller with talkback and optional A/D. Acoustica (acoustica.com) was demonstrating the new Mixcraft 7 ($89.95) and Mixcraft Pro Studio 7 ($164.95), with 64-bit support, automation recording, a clip-based Performance Panel, audio warping, and more. Look for a review soon. ADK Microphones (adkmic.com) gave us a sneak peek at a new tube-based mic body for the 3Zigma line of interchangeable mic bodies/capsules. AEA (ribbonmics.com) showed the new N8 (reviewed January 2015) as well as some beautiful old ribbon mics such as an RCA 44 belonging to Les Paul. ADK 3Zigma's new tube mic body.
