us famously in Hamlet, one of his greatest plays.

Drama has the power to change audience's perceptions, and
therefore, help create a new and better reality. This academic discipline might not seem like one that can make a difference in the
world, but performance is truly a method that can inspire change
for the greater good by altering perceptions.
This issue's cover story, "Act Globally," is about how drama students and faculty can show audiences around the world how to view
history in a new light, learn about global social justice issues more
deeply, and heal wounds from atrocities like genocide and apartheid.
This is the second article in an occasional feature series on the arts
and global learning.
Also, in this issue is an interview with Nicolette DeVille Christensen, president of Arcadia University, which has been a longtime
campus leader in study abroad; an Education Abroad column about
how community colleges are making efforts to increase and improve
faculty-led programs abroad; and an International Enrollment column on latest trends in Chinese student recruitment.
Don't miss our annual health and insurance section on page 36
with a feature article, "Health Forms 2.0: Developing an Ethical and
Effective Health History Disclosure Process for Education Abroad,"
by Julie Anne Friend, director of global safety and security at Northwestern University.
Lastly, after 11 years at NAFSA's International Educator magazine, I am leaving my position as editor-in-chief. It has been a thrill
and a privilege to witness the evolution of the field of international
education and play a part in capturing its history through the pages
of International Educator. You, international educators, have inspired me, as you inspire all NAFSA staff with the work you do
every day to encourage students to study abroad and help international students and scholars pursue their educational aspirations.
This meaningful work to help bridge cultural differences in a higher
education environment and produce college graduates with a better
understanding of the world who are prepared to work effectively
with all people across borders, is remarkable. Your profession is
critical and is immeasurably valuable to all learners and all people
around the world-you make a difference every day. Be proud that
you have chosen such an incredibly important and world-changing
profession. I will miss serving you, and I hope that our paths cross
again.
