For more than a decade, China has dominated the international recruitment industry as the key market for
internationally mobile students. Meanwhile, the Chinese government has set ambitious goals for inbound
mobility. China is currently the third most popular study abroad destination worldwide, behind only the
United States and the United Kingdom, and it appears to be on track to achieve its goal of hosting 500,000
international students by 2020.
