Custom sizes and features are available to fit your specific needs, and the company’s aluminum products are guaranteed against rust and corrosion. And it is lightweight without compromising durability. Presto Lifts Power Skid Lifters Powered Skid Lifters from Presto Lifts combine the best features of a lift table and a pallet truck, allowing operators to pick up a load, transport it to a work station and lift it to a comfortable working height. Available in 20- and 27-in.-wide configurations, Powered Skid Lifters have a 2,200 lb. lifting capacity and can be raised to a height of 31.5 in. The lift is powered by a 12-volt battery that raises loads to the highest position in less than six seconds. Units include a battery discharge indicator and integral battery charger. Safety features include an overload relief valve and automatic stabilizers that take over from the wheels and lock into place when the load is approximately 15-in. high. High-tensile-strength steel construction reduces weight without sacrificing strength, and the standard forks are each 44-in. long. Hamilton Caster Ultralast Wheels Hamilton Caster’s new Ultralast wheels are made from polyurethane materials, enabling them to roll more smoothly and easily with loads up to 7,200-lbs. Recommended for continuous duty, power-towed and higher-speed applications on smooth surfaces, Ultralast wheels are made from a new, high-performance polyurethane. The wheels minimize the heat buildup that can cause traditional polyurethane wheels to fail. The wheels are available in two standard designs. Standard Ultralast has a /8-in. thick tread that is chemically bonded to a cast iron center and Super Ultralast wheels incorporate a 1-in. tread molded to a super heavy-duty forged steel center. Custom wheel combinations are also available. Ultralast wheels’ liquid cast polyurethane measure 93-94 on the Shore duromoter scale with a tensile strength of 6,500 psi and a Bashore rebound of 57 percent.
