INNOVATIONS NEW PRODUCTS Toyota Forklift Fuel Efficiency Calculator Application Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) recently launched its Toyota Forklift Fuel Efficiency Calculator application (app) to help users estimate fuel efficiency savings and performance for their forklift fleet. Available on iPhones, smartphones, iPads and Android tablets, the free downloadable app provides users with the ability to enter their detailed material handling specifications. The calculator measures a number of user-specific variables including fuel efficiency, run times per cycle and speed advantage per cycle. The lifter is designed to be used with one of RonI’s expandable, lightweight floor- or ceiling-mounted anodized aluminum rail systems. Hannibal Industries’ Tuberack System Hannibal Industries, Inc., a leading storage system manufacturer and provider, recently announced its patent-pending TubeRack System. With a dual-movement frame, the system allows flexibility both front-to-back and side-to-side giving it the ability to withstand impacts and seismic events more safely with your product design. Its horizontal-bolt-together modular design handles more capacity with less steel in many instances, while reducing the stress on the slab. This all-new modular design also allows for future flexibility and lower freight costs. Yale Materials Handling Corporation’s Order Selector Series Yale Materials Handling Corporation has launched a series of AC-powered order selectors with lifting capacities of 1,500 to 3,000 lbs. The series includes a heavy duty counterbalanced OS030BF, standard duty counterbalanced OS030EF, straddle selector SS030BF and furniture selector FS030BF, to meet your customers’ demanding applications. Bigfoot™ Portable Crane Base The BigFoot™ portable crane base is designed to safely anchor cranes, vacuum lifters, robotics, and similar floormounted devices. BigFoot is easy to move with a forklift or pallet jack and virtually any floor-mounted device that makes human-scale lifting or repetitive motions easier can be mounted to it. Instead of floor-bolted anchors and concrete footings, BigFoot is easily moved to where it is most needed; its portable base, durably cast in safety-yellow polymer concrete, is ergonomically designed and rounded with a beveled edge to work well in tight situations. Weighing in at 2,000 lbs., it has a relative capacity of up to 150 lbs. on a 10-foot arm. It is topped by a standard mounting interface which most devices can easily attach to. An adapter or custom-mount is available. Eight heavy-duty articulating leveling jacks make the base stable and easily moved by pallet jack or forklift. Hyster Company’s Sit-Down Electric Lift Truck Series Hyster Company has launched a new series of sit-down electric lift trucks—the 3-wheel J30-40XNT and the 4-wheel J30-40XN. The Hyster® J30-40XNT/XN series delivers lifting capacities of 3,000 to 4,000 lbs. and a zero turn radius to make the trucks ideal for a variety of applications. The lift trucks are available with a 36- or 48-volt, low maintenance AC traction and hydraulic motor. The lift trucks also feature four operator performance modes to allow performance to be tailored to the specific application of use and the operator’s ability, increasing overall productivity and efficiency. RonI’s MechLift™-Electric Manipulator As part of their MovoMech™ product line, RonI, Inc. has added the MechLift™-Electric manipulator. Available in a choice of standard sizes, the new MechLift™ can accommodate loads from 165 lbs. (75 kgs) to 1400 lbs. (650 kgs) and has a maximum stroke of 6 feet 6 inches (2000 mm). It is adaptable for a wide variety of material handling applications, including but not limited to roll handling, drum handling, sheets, doors, windows, storage tanks as well as general auto parts. The MechLift™ manipulator is built upon telescopically formed aluminum profiles that are anodized. 68 MHEDA | WEPCO, Inc.
