Robert Nilsson Joins Dematic to Lead Software Strategy
Dematic North America hired Robert Nilsson to develop its software strategy and lead the day-to-day management and growth of the Dematic software business. Nilsson brings more than 20 years of experience in executive management, strategy and general management for technology and software companies to the role. He has an extensive background in in SaaS, electronic document management, electronic delivery and signatures, ERP, CRM, billing, operational support, mobile commerce, data warehousing, business intelligence and networking software.
Autoquip Hires Two
Autoquip hired Rich Poison as regional sales manager to cover the Upper Midwest territory and Julie Rice for a newly created marketing position. Poison will be responsible for sales of Autoquip lifting equipment and providing customers with solutions and technical support. He brings a diverse background in industrial and material handling sales to the position, having formerly held positions with Wer res Cor poration, Schaefer Systems International and Lift Stak & Stor Incorporated. Julie Rice was brought on in a newly created marketing capacity. “As our business continues to grow, we also wanted our marketing efforts to keep pace with the innovative methods for staying connected to our customers,” says Louis Coleman, director of sales and marketing for Autoquip. Rice has previously held marketing positions for PetSmart Corporation and Cadbury Schweppes. She will provide support to Autoquip’s dealers as well as the manufacturer’s sales team, ensuring that they have the latest marketing materials and online resources to assist in lead generation and customer retention.
Randall Manufacturing Appoints Grudis
Randall Manufacturing appointed Kristine Grudis as a territory manager for its warehouse and commercial building product lines. Grudis reports directly to Randall Manufacturing’s vice president of sales, Chuck Carey. After nine years, Grudis returns to Randall Manufacturing with a wealth of experience in temperature zoning solutions for warehouses, commercial buildings and workplaces. Most recently, she served as the strategic accounts sales manager with HCR/Jamison Door where she was responsible for business development with strategic accounts in the Horizontal Re-circulatory Air Door market. Grudis will work closely with building managers, architects, 3PLs and material handling partners to bring innovative temperature zoni ng solutions including InsulWall and InsulAir.
Toyota Honors Hull with Lifetime Achievement Award
Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) honored Robert “Bob” Hull of Hull Lift Truck, Inc. with its Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes Hull’s influential role in the Toyota dealership network spanning two decades and his company’s 50-plus years of service to the industry. The award was presented to Hull at Toyota’s National Dealer Meeting in Phoenix, AZ. “When I think of Bob, I think of dedication and leadership,” says Brett Wood, president and CEO of Toyota Material Handling North America. “Bob is a shining example of leadership in his business, his community and his industry. He has contributed immensely to Toyota’s success and to the material handling industry.”
TVH Appoints Business Development Manager
John Gaughan was appointed business development manager for Industrial Equipment Parts and Accessories for TVH Americas. Gaughan brings more than 26 years of sales and business development experience in the material handling industry to the role. His expertise and industry contacts will enable TVH to focus on new sales opportunities and continued growth potential for the IEPA division. Gaughan will continue to reside in Grayslake, IL.
