INNOVATIONS NEW PRODUCTS Toyota Galvanized Chassis Toyota Mater ia l Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) added a Galvanized Chassis option to three models of its AC electric pallet truck line and walkie rider. The chassis will protect the vehicles while operating in wet environments. The models include the 8-Series AC electric walkie pallet truck (6,000 lb. capacity), 8-Series end-control walkie rider (6,0008,000 lb. capacity) and 7-Series electric walkie pallet truck (4,500 lb. capacity). The enhancement is suited for trucks working in salty, high-moisture and corrosive environments. The trucks feature heavy duty Teflon coated Polylube bushings that require no lubrication and add strength and stability, along with a motor controller splashguard to deflect debris and moisture. Other enhancements include corrosion-resistant stainless steel and nickel-played linkage pins, Galvanized lower linkages, pull rods and connecting links, and easily accessible steer bearings. Battery Mule Mobile Battery Station The Battery Mule Mobile Battery Station from Wesley International is an all-in-one battery changing station, charging station and watering station. The mobile unit allows a depleted battery pack to be easily removed from the electric vehicle and replaced with a charged pack. The depleted battery can then be rolled to the nearest 110-240v outlet and charged up while the electric vehicle is in operation. An optional battery watering refill station holds the gravity refill container for complete battery maintenance. The integrated lift design eliminates the need to have a separate pallet jack nearby. The Battery Mule can accommodate slide out heights from 5.4 in. to 10 in., though other heights can be addressed. UTILEV Lift Trucks UTILEV introduced a new global brand of forklift trucks. The UTILEV UT25-30P range of diesel and LPG fuel forklifts are now available in select U.S. markets in 5,000-6,000 lb. capacities. UTILEV trucks are ideal for light to medium duty operating environments and for customers who use their lift trucks intermittently during the day or week. A range of standard features and options are available to configure the truck to the needs of the application. All trucks feature a standard limited warranty of 12 months or 2,000 hours. The ergonomically designed operator compartment helps drivers work comfortably during handling operations. Servicing of the trucks can be carried out quickly and easily, even when PCs, laptops or other diagnostic tools are not available, thanks to the simplicity of the components. Autoquip AQLogic Control Panel The AQLogic Control Panel from Autoquip Corporation utilizes PLR technology to provide simple, yet powerful programming f lexibility. The system, for Autoquip’s Freightlift line of VRC’s, allows one controller to be configured to service a wide variety of applications involving multiple input and output signals. It has numerous programming combinations for signals, alarms, counters, timers, lights, sensors and more and is displayed on a digital display screen that communicates system status and quick diagnostics. The AQLogic Control Panel’s relay components are compact, providing extra working space inside the panel and making it easier for wiring and installation. Autoquip also offers expendable memory for increased The MHEDA Journal | Third Quar ter 2 012 79
