INDUSTRY REPORTS Attendance Hits Record High for The Great Ideas Summit 2012 MIAMI, Fla. – An all-time record number of attendees enjoyed networking, education and fun in the Florida sun at The Great Ideas Summit 2012, which made a successful return to Miami Beach on February 27-29. More than 875 industry professionals came to the historic Fontainebleau for the premier mid-winter event in the directto-consumer marketing space, and the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) did not disappoint with its offerings of on-trend educational sessions, dynamic receptions and special events, and a sold-out exhibit hall. Here are some of the highlights from the three-day show. Networking and Special Events The show kicked off Monday, February 27 with the opening of the Meet & Greet Lounge. The lounge, which originated at last year’s Great Ideas Summit in New Orleans, has quickly become the ideal space for companies to meet with existing partners and new contacts.
