AsSeenOnTV.com, an exclusive licensed property of As Seen On TV, Inc., a direct response marketing company, saw exceptional year-over-year growth through April 30, 2012. The company saw revenue up 65 percent, orders up 105 percent, daily visits up 30 percent and page views up 37 percent. In June, CoreMedia Systems, Inc. integrated its direct response campaign management system, CoreDirect, with WO Central, WideOrbit’s online ad marketplace that directly connects media buyers and sellers, making it much easier for advertisers and agencies to purchase long-form TV commercial time. In April, at least 80 people gathered at a gala in Kowloon to celebrate the 10th anniversary milestone of Impact Products Ltd. with founder Bill Quarless and his team. What started a decade ago with a lone American and his Chinese assistant working out of a single-room office has grown into a 10-person production management powerhouse in the heart of downtown Hong Kong supporting a veritable who’s who of leading DRTV companies. Kinek, the alternative delivery service, recently announced partnerships with Sierra Trading Post, Cigars International, Monoprice and Extreme Custom Wheels, which enable the e-commerce companies to offer their customers easy access to parcel delivery through Kinek’s network of more than 1,000 KinekPoint centers across North America. Joining Cannella are Sari Montrone as client services assistant, and Alicia Ramsey, Rachel Shimizu and Adrienne Wolfson as media assistants. Direct response TV veteran media buyer Shari Galanti has joined acquirgy as a senior media buyer. Atomic Direct has appointed Evan McCarthy to account coordinator. In his new position, Evan will be involved in the areas of media tracking and analysis. Sean Bartyzel has joined Koeppel Direct as a senior v i ce p r e si d e nt of business development.
